CHARITY PROGRAM
for the development and support of biotechnology in Ukraine
for the period from 09.07.2021 till 31.12.2021

Charity program "Development of biotechnologies in Ukraine" of CO "Charity "Peace and Development Foundation " is a set of charitable events aimed at introducing innovations in Ukraine, developing and supporting legislative initiatives, research activities, the formation of public policies, material, organizational, educational support in the field of biological technologies for government agencies, research, educational institutions, non-profit organizations, etc. charitable foundations. The program is designed for 2 years. The first phase will run until the end of 2021.

Within the framework of the program, the Foundation is open for partnership cooperation with all organizations that are engaged in or contribute to the development of biotechnological infrastructure in Ukraine.

Until 31.12.2021, the Foundation plans to select a partner and donate charitable Foundations to conduct a "Study of the Prospects for the Development of the Biotechnology Sphere in Ukraine" to identify the potential for its development.

These materials will be used to determine further projects of the Foundation. Also, the results of the study will be published in the public domain on the website of the Foundation and the website of the recipient of charitable Foundations and provided for use by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and other stakeholder state and scientific institutions in order to facilitate the implementation of their tasks aimed at the development of biotechnological infrastructure in Ukraine.

Implementation of the Charity Program "Development of biotechnologies in Ukraine", the study of the prospects for the field of biotechnology in Ukraine is implemented within the framework of the Charter of the Charitable Foundation and the Charity Agreement between the Foundation and the contractor organization, developed by the Foundation on the basis of the relevant request of the beneficiary.

The Charity Program is carried out within the limits of available funds, and in case of insufficient funds to carry out charitable activities within the desired period, the period may be rescheduled. The contractor is financed within the framework of the charity program and planned funds, however, possible deviations in actual expenses due to possible inflation or contingencies that cannot be avoided (based on the relevant request of the beneficiary and the consent of the Supervisory Board of the Foundation) are allowed.

The first stage of the implementation of the Charity Program is designed for the period until the end of 2021, it includes planned expenses for charitable assistance to the organization that will conduct a study of the prospects for the development of biotechnology in Ukraine (from August to November 2021).

The content of the program is reflected in Table 1.1, which reveals the target cost plan for implementation. The Charity Program may be amended with the consent of the General Meeting of the Foundation and the Supervisory Board.

Thus, the total planned total need of the beneficiary for charitable assistance until the end of 2021 (from July 09, 2021 to December 31, 2021) is: UAH 410,985.
